Poem: Who You Imitating?

Poem: Who You Imitating?

who you imitating when you straighten your hair
who you imitating with the clothes you wear
who you imitating when you bleach your skin
who you imitating with that fake weak grin
who you imitating with that job on your nose
who you imitating with those skin tight clothes
i know you imitate
those who enslave your mind
i know who you imitate
the ones who leave you blind
i know who you imitate
my black friend
who you imitating?
you better think again…
